Having a cup of tea underneath the bridge

Siospehol bridge in Esfahan

service station stop in Iran

Day 21 - Tehran to Esfahan

Off to Esfahan, the cultural capital of Iran. Our japanese fellow had to stay, being attached to the bathroom. Since we were coming back there for our flight to Karachi we were going to meet him again in two days time. The drive was not too bad this time, we had enough food on us anyways and toilet stops were getting more frequent.
Another 4**** hotel, even nicer this time. We went for a stroll along the river to the beautiful bridges, had tea and popcorn and a paddle on the blue-swan-paddle boats in the moonlight!
The first impression of Esfahan is absolutely beautiful, a very clean place and very friendly people. Everybody wanted to speak to us and welcome us to Iran...
