Belgrade
Everybody is just loving the busrides....maybe thats just a shot whilst I was doing one of my superinteresting and informative little talks!

Enjoying the ride!

Yet again the Danube River

The biggest McDonalds in the Balkans - what a sight!

In the heart of Serbia we stayed at the worst Hostel so far. Nobody was able to move in the room, the staff was rude and hassled and we had one shower between the 14 of us. But anyways, the city was surprisingly nice, there is a big fortress where Attila the Hun King is said to be buried and lots of tanks are standing around. We walked around the main shopping street, and I saw the glorious biggest McDonalds of the Balkans....

There is a small touristy street called Skadarlija, the little Paris of the Balkans (they seem to have everything there!) where you can have dinner on the cobblestones. They play music and its very much bohemian. Of course the most famous actress could not help herself but take our irish fellow for a dance - so gipsy!
First drops of rain and back to the crappy hostel. Not too bad, only another night on the journey towards the east...
