DAY 1 AND 2
OZBUS...in front of the hostel Sudpfanne in Heidelberg!
The old bridge in Heidelberg and the castle in the back!
The Brass Monkey in Heidelberg. Since I touched it I will be very wealthy and have many many children!
Bike tour with Quasimundo in beautiful Brugge
Hey there!
Weve just had our second day, in Heidelberg now.
We got to Bruges yesterday after a quite relaxed drive from London to Dover and a nice ferry drive. I had breakfast at the bus drivers section which is really funny cause I am already a rarity, even though were still in the westest part of western Europe. Plus there were no Girla toilets at the bus drivers section, only wine drinking guys from all over (mind you, drinking wine at 10am...in the bus drivers section. Should they really sell alcohol there at all?) Anyways, when we arrived in Bruges we sampled some good old JUPILER, which reminds me of good old times at the Footballstadium....And after 2 hours of sitting, and going for a quick walk down to the river we got picked up by Steve from Quasimundo bike to go on a 2-hr-bike trip around the historical town. It was really good! And got topped by another beer!
After that and some chatting we were ready to sample some Belgian food, flemish stew and FRENCH FRIES - Yummi!
The morning after that we got up quite early to drive all the way to beautiful Heidelberg. After a long long drive through the german mountain range of the Eifel we moved into the hostel Heidelberger Sudpfanne. A quick walk to the Brass Monkey to touch it for wealth and many children, the old bridge and steep climb up to the castle was just about enough exercise to deserve abig cold Weizen...and another one...and really good typical food in the peaceful patio. how nice is Heidelberg!
And tomorrow: Prague!
Fotos to follow...Good night everyone!
